Couldn't agree with you more, sir. "Crimes" and I use that term loosely, such as drugs and speeding are nothing more than revenue collection for the state. Seat belt laws are some of the best examples of such "crimes" which are listed as infractions which gives the state the excuse that they are not by definition a crime, but it sure gives the police the right to detain you at the point of a gun.
I don't know when people will come to the realization that the state is ever so slowly and some cases rapidly encroaching upon the rights of every day people to live free.
