Most Americans Favor Universal Health Care, Give Democrats Edge On Improving System...READ MORE...Again the media has promoted a two party system. This poll promotes both the Dumb-o-crates and the Republicans as if Libertarians do not exist. Both D's & R's are pro big government along with big media.

I think the biggest problem is that most Americans don’t understand economics. Just try explaining to someone how the minimum wage actually creates unemployment, or how competition makes private schools better than public schools.
Not only is government involvement in health care a bad economic decision, it is a bad ethical decision. Years ago, the government denied my grandmother cancer medication because it had not went through a seven year test and it could harm her. I guess the FDA wasn’t concerned about the harm cancer could do to someone.
