An Historical Perspective

We the people went to war, with what was at the time the most powerful country on the planet, because we did not want to work from January 1st through January 15th to pay taxes to King George.

By contrast today, the average American works from January 1st through May 15th to pay taxes to our morbidly obese government.

Solution: It is time for us, we the people, to take our country back.

So what have we learned in 2 millennia?

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." - Cicero - 55 B.C.
