Our national debt now stands at more than $11 trillion. It is growing at about $100 billion a month. Our debt ceiling, the amount of debt we can legally owe, is now $12.1 trillion. Obama wants to borrow a trillion dollars this week. This will require the Congress to raise the debt ceiling. That will more than likely happen within the next few days. Will the madness never end? We must push for a Balanced Budget Amendment now. Our Government can not borrow itself out of debt.
